Peanut Butter Dog Treat Recipe
This produces a hard crunchy treat, which is good for dog's teeth. If you have an older dog and are looking for a softer cookie, with the same great flavor, we have a good recipe for that! PB Dog Treat
* 4 cups whole wheat flour * 2 cups quick oats * 3/4 cup peanut butter * 2 cups chicken or beef broth Mix flour and oats, then cut in peanut butter with a knife. Add broth and mix well. You will need to use your hands to get this recipe completely mixed. Spread some cornmeal on a surface and knead the dough thoroughly. You can use flour to roll it in, however, the corn meal gives a crunchier texture to this treat! Roll about 1/2 inch thick and cut into shapes. Place shapes on a greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. This dough is not the easiest to work with, especially when re-rolling scraps, but it makes a great dog cookie recipe.
