Pumpkin Dog Treats

Pumpkin, in itself, is actually good for dogs.

This is a great treat, especially around the holidays, that goes along with all of the festive smells, coming from our kitchens.

It is also a great year round snack!

Pumpkin Treats

* 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

* 2 cups white flour

* 1/2 cup quick oats

* 1 teas cinnamon

* 1/2 teas nutmeg

* 2 teas brown sugar

* 1/2 cup chicken broth

* 3/4 cup plain canned pumpkin

* 1 TBSP oil

* 1 egg, beaten

* 1 teas vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients together, then mix all wet ingredients together.

Add dry ingredients into the wet, and thoroughly mix. Roll dough, on floured surface, to 1/2 inch thick.

Cut desired shapes and place on a greased baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
