Soft Dog Treats
If you own older dogs that already have dental problems, then you may be interested in a soft, homemade dog cookie recipe. These 2 recipes are eagerly gobbled up by my Golden Retrievers! Soft Spicy Dog Treats
1/2 cup honey3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce 3 TBSP brown sugar 1 egg 2 cups wheat flour 2 teas baking soda 1 teas ginger 1 teas cinnamon 1/2 teas cloves Mix wheat flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. In a separate bowl, blend honey, applesauce, brown sugar, and egg. Add in flour mixture and stir well. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Soft Peanut Butter & Banana Treats
3/4 c. mashed bananas1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 c. peanut butter 1/8 c. oil 1 & 1/2 cups quick oats Stir the first 4 ingredients together, with a wooden spoon. Mix in the oats and drop by heaping teaspoon onto a cookie sheet. Press flat. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
