My Handsome Boy

My Handsome Boy

Scout was such a huge part of our family. He was always there to great us at the door when we came home, always with a shoe or whatever he could find on the floor to show us how happy he was to see us.

All he ever wanted to do was love, and love us he did. He would sit right by you to let you know that he wanted a hug and he would let you hug him until you were done. He followed you from room to room, just to be with you. He never met a person he didn't like and always had a wag and shoe for them. Such a beautiful boy - I will miss your snoring and tail wagging, Scout. I love you so much and am simply heartbroken.

Unfortunately, Scout had cancer, which caused him to have heart failure and he had to be put to sleep. Devastated does not even describe how I feel.

I know that Grandpa and Uncle Eric were waiting for you in heaven and will keep you company until I get there.

I love you, my sweet boy.

Your Scout
by: FX

I just read your post regarding your "Scout". My wife and I had to let our "Muttskee" go three days ago. We are trying to cope with the loss of someone who was such a part of our life. I feel for you. You are not alone...and either is Scout!

So Sorry
by: Di Searl

So sorry to hear about your gorgeous boy:-(.....I have been where you are right now & understand totally how much it hurts.
We lost our gorgeous girl Jessie 21 months ago, she was only 10. Never a day goes by without we talk to her & miss her so much.
We now have a 6 month old goldie called Gracie who is Jessies great granddaughter. She is adorable and sure Jessie is up there telling her what to do. She makes us smile again & we love her to pieces but Jessie will always hold a special place in our hearts just for being Jessie.
Remember all the good times & am sure the wonderful memories you have of Scout will help you through. Can imagine it's happy chaos in goldie heaven. xx
